Where do we go from Here?

Over the course of this summit, we've been fortunate enough to see a flurry of activity revolving around applying virtual worlds to education. But where do we go from here?

• Making it easy for users to create content to populate your virtual worlds. Brilliant.

• Developing standards to allow that content to be shared and re-used across domains and platforms. Priceless!

The scenario I've tried to paint here rests on the development of standards that enable...

• Shared content between worlds...
• Walking between worlds...

And then the ironic twist is to put the standards to use to create special purpose worlds for education. Special purpose worlds can be mandated to be:

1. SAFE
2. SECURE
3. PROTECTED
